Die Welt dann doch mehr memorable als die Story. Sie wirkte irgendwie an Stellen so all over the place. Charaktere waren aber schön und wie sie interagiert haben, besonders die secondary Charaktere die mehr Zeit bekommen haben fand ich gut.

As with the other two books in the trilogy, I absolutely adored the writing style and choice of words. It was so immersive and beautiful, especially the parts about nature and how Tasha Suri described it. I found the first half of the book a little lengthy, this probably could’ve been 50 pages or so shorter. Bhumikas chapters were the only ones in which anything really needed to happen to move the story along but nothing happened, so it just trundled along. This last 150 pages were where the action really picked up and I loved that part! The Lotus Empire is a great last book of this trilogy and ties all of the storylines neatly together, but the ending was just… not entirely to my taste. Maybe I need to read this entire trilogy again back to back to really fully appreciate this third part haha
