About Virginia Woolf

Virginia Woolf (1882 - 1941) zählt heute neben James Joyce und Marcel Proust zu den wichtigsten Stimmen der modernen Literatur. Ihre bekanntesten Werke sind "Mrs Dalloway", "Die Wellen" und der feministische Essay "Ein Zimmer für sich allein". Antje Rávik Strubel lebt als Schriftstellerin und Übersetzerin aus dem Englischen und Schwedischen in Potsdam. Für ihre Romane wurde sie vielfach ausgezeichnet, u.a. mit dem Deutschen Buchpreis.
