About Hisashi Kashiwai

Hisashi Kashiwai, geboren 1952 in Kyoto, ist Zahnarzt und Leiter einer Zahnklinik in Kyoto. Nebenher schreibt er seit Jahren Bücher, die in seiner Heimatstadt spielen. Sein Roman Das Restaurant der verlorenen Rezepte war in Japan so erfolgreich, dass eine mehrbändige Serie folgte, die inzwischen auch verfilmt wurde.
