Well, I didn't expect THAT when I started reading this book, I thought it would be a comedy lol.

So, the book is about 4 people from mailand and their real estate agent driving to the countryside, to look at houses they want to buy, for nice relaxing days away from the city. Well, their car breaks down, they have no connection and can't call for help, and it's already dark and a thunderstorm is raging. They find a few really old houses with some kind of commune living in them, people who refuse all modernity, who live like its the year 1000. They also find out that these are the houses they wanted to buy lmao. So a lot of dramatic stuff happens, they fight, someone breaks his leg, another gets shot at by some strangers on the road, the 1000s people try to seduce them and by the end they all HATE each other and discover that their friendship lost its meaning years ago already. It was written pretty well, but literally all characters were unlikeable, ALL of them. That made all these dramatic things pretty entertaining tho, as I thought they deserved all of it lol. But it was hard to enjoy the book without liking at least one character. The ending was also meh, it just randomly ended at some point, with no _real_ end to the story, the last sentence felt like the author wanted to continue but then stopped regardless.
