hm. i believe this book is very helpful for dedicated christians, who turned into fundamentalists. it helps to lead back to the right path and remind oneself that scripture is up to interpretation. jesus was a feminist, women are facing discrimination in the world and the church, the biggest lesson has to be loving thy neighbor. fundementalists who forgot about all that, should really read this book. for everyone else who knows about all this or isn‘t too religious, this didn‘t bring much new knowledge. it was very memoire-based, filled with some interesting facts about the bibel. but i wouldn‘t reread it and wouldn‘t recommend it to anyone other than fundamentalists. thank you netgalley for providing me this copy of the book.
