Autorenbeschreibung
Sabine Schmitz (M.Med. TCM) is a graduate of the Zhèjiāng Chinese Medical University (ZCMU) in Hángzhōu, China, where she majored in Chinese dermatology. Her research there focused on psoriasis, in particular affecting the scalp. She has a busy TCM practice in Cologne, Germany, specializing in skin diseases (Chinese dermatology) and gynaecological disorders (Chinese gynaecology). Working for fifteen years in different fields of conventional medicine gave Sabine a deep understanding of how Western medicine works, and how it often does not. This also prompted her search for alternative therapies that can address the shortcomings of conventional medical practice, in a way that is more natural, personalized, and holistic. It is her conviction that medicine should consider the patient and their body and mind in its entirety. Read more about her work and publications at Sabine’s website www.chinamed-koeln.com (English) or www.chinamed-koeln.de (German).
