Falk Richter, “Director of the Year 2018“ (Theater heute), is one of today’s most important and internationally influential theatremakers. In his lectures on dramatic composition Richter lays out his model of theatre-making: where research, text, dance, video, and music merge into a highly personal and political "Gesamtkunstwerk". Falk Richter (born 1969) is a Berlin based writer and director. His plays have been translated into more than 35 languages and performed all over the world. Richter is Professor for Performing Arts in Copenhagen. This book includes his lectures and three of his most renowned plays: Under Ice (Unter Eis), Small Town Boy and Fear.
