2,0DNF @ 50 % I’m kind of disappointed in this book. I imagined it being a mix of „People we meet on vacation“ and „Beach read“ but it hit non of the points I liked in both books. The dynamic between the two protagonists felt like hate instead of tension during the first 50% of the book. The writing style is all over the place with both points of view in two different timelines. And both main characters had no personality. They mostly define themselves through their work. It really didn’t feel fun but rather sad.
