Den Vergleich mit 300 kann ich nicht wirklich ziehen, dennoch hat mich das Buch und die Geschichte begeistert! Detailverliebt (wobei es daran doch an manchen Stellen hapert), sodass man sich perfekt in die beschriebene Handlung hineinversetzen kann und nie langweilig. Wer jedoch auf reichlich Kriegsgetümmel und Blutvergießen aus ist, wird hier sicherlich enttäuscht. Im Vordergrund steht hier eher Zwischenmenschliches und alles, was abseits des Schlachtfeldes wartet. Ein guter und lesenswerter Historienroman.
