I usually find the second book of a trilogy rather boring (since in most cases they feel like a 'filler' book packed with background information for the big conclusion in the last book) and don't get me wrong - this book is FULL of backstory. BUT it does not feel redundant in any shape or form and was very entertaining (and at some parts) shocking to read - can't wait to see how it ends!
