Beschreibung
Marching south after the ghastly battle at the Tower of Charm, the Black Company is hounded by shadowy figures every inch of the way.
The game is on: the Company versus the Shadowmasters, deadly creatures that deal in darkness and sorrow.
When hope dies, there's still survival. And there's still the Black Company.
"With the Black Company series Glen Cook single-handedly changed the face of fantasy."-New York Times bestselling author Steven Erikson

Interesting story about the shadowmasters, a new and old evil and some more annalists with different points of view. I am not sure, if I like that Croaker kind of retired from writing anymore annals, but it is a decent way to describe different stories. The last book was a bit odd, especially the ending with another real death of Raven. Wonder if this was the last time and if the tree god is really capable of sealing the silver spike away. He son failed badly. I still haven't understood what happend to the Limper, they burned for some time? Did they destroy the skull this time?
