It was a short read but I enjoyed reading it because it gave me a sense of what Will had to go through while being in the Upside-Down. We never really saw what Will had to go through in the Netflix series and although I‘ve already felt bad for Will before, I felt worse for him when reading the Graphic Novel. I totally could understand why he wanted to hang out so badly with his friends in Season 2 - especially when Mike was annoying to him - since his friends had no clue and no way of ever knowing - what Will had to go through in the Upside-Down. I think that gets downplayed in the Netflix show because to be honest, that‘s a very dark part of the story. Also, I enjoyed how the Graphic Novel built up Will‘s time in the Upside-Down and I liked the drawing style.
