Winning isn't everything in the game of basketball, but who wants to come in second? It takes dedication and discipline to be the best, and the Shohoku High hoops team wants to be just that. They have one last year to make their captain's dream of reaching the finals come true—will they do it?
Captain Akagi returns to the game as the second half gets underway, and despite playing on a potentially career-ending sprained ankle, he refuses to let Kainan intimidate him. However, the Kings continue to show Shohoku no mercy, with their star rookie Maki relentlessly attacking the basket and drawing fouls and the ever-reliable Jin widening the lead. As the game clock hits the ten-minute mark, Coach Anzai decides to make a drastic move!

Shohoku kämpft unerbittlich und jagd den Punkten hinterher. Immer wieder holen sie den Rückstand wieder auf und immer wieder geht Kainan in Führung. Ein so spannendes Spiel habe ich seit langem nicht mehr gelesen 🤩 Manchmal denke ich, das ich selbst dort auf der Tribüne sitze und Shohoku anfeuere.... Die Atmosphäre des Spiels ist so genial 💓 Die Spieler geben alles. Gori der noch verletzt ist, hat schon vergessen das er verletzt ist (ignoriert den Schmerz) Hut ab vor Gori.... Er ist so ein unglaublicher Spieler und Captain des Teams ❤️ Es sind nur noch 2 Minuten zu spielen und nur wenige Punkte bis zum Ausgleich....
