This took me a while to finish, because I was not as invested in the story. It became a little to war-heavy for me (and I assume the next books will be even more so). I am a lot more driven by character and relationships, than heavy plot. I do like the “darker” side of Mare though and that she is not a flawless character. I think I will take a little break before continuing this series.

Part 2 of the Red Queen Saga
Not as good as the first book, but I kinda expected that. The storyline has more room to evolve and the characters more time to change within. Great plottwist at the end for part 3. Please just give me a happy end for once!
