Raising a Prodigal... Broken Marriages... Unfulfilled Promises... Painful Tribulation... Sometimes Love just isn't enough. What do you do when you have done all you can do and the pain of someone's actions are killing you? What do you do when your love just isn't enough? Before God called me to become a full-time pastor, I spent nineteen years teaching and coaching high school students in the public school setting. I have seen countless children make destructive decisions, and have watched as they suffered the consequences of their choices. At the same time, I witnessed the torture of many a mother as they were left at home worrying about the fate of their dearly loved child. These are the times that a mother must sacrifice her worry on God's altar and learn through passionate intercession to hold to the promises He has given in His Word. In my own life I have experienced the Power of a Praying mom. I am still alive because of the prayer of my Mom. James 5:16 teaches us that effective fervent prayer of the righteous avails much.
