Magician's Nephew,The

When things go wrong, you'll find they usually go on getting worse for some time; but when things once start going right they often go on getting better and better. A solid start to the series. Going into it, I didn't know that this book serves as a prequel to the rest of the Narnia series. It explains how Narnia was first discovered and "built" and is probably also the foundation for some of the characters we will meet in the rest of the books. The plot wasn't too interesting (yet?) but I think that's because "The Magician's Nephew" is only a prequel. I've always wondered why Narnia can be entered through a wardrobe so at least this question has been answered! I've never seen the movies and this is my first Narnia book. I am really excited to get to know the "real" main characters of the story in the following books.

Eigentlich müsste diese Rezension auf Englisch verfasst sein, aber ich möchte euch wirklich vor meinen Rechtschreibfehlern verschonen.😅 Deshalb gibt es diese Rezension auf Deutsch, auch wenn's ein englischsprachiges Buch ist. Aber nun zu Inhalt: Es geht um zwei Kinder Poppy und Digory. Digory hat einen komischen Onkel und der besitzt Ringe, die er von einer Fee vermacht bekommen hat. 🧚‍♀️ Mit Hilfe dieser Ringe reisen die beiden Kinder auch wenn nicht unbedingt freiwillig in Parallelwelten bzw Universen und erleben dort unter anderem die Entstehung von Narnia. 🌄 Mir persönlich hat die Geschichte sehr gut gefallen und ich kann sie weiterempfehlen. Auch das Lesen des englischsprachigen Buchs ist mir sehr leicht gefallen, da die Sprache nicht so mega kompliziert und leicht verständlich ist. Deshalb gibt es von mir fünf Sterne. ✨
