Candice Croaker never anticipated that counselling a teenage girl on a mental health helpline would put her in the crosshairs of Newfoundland and Labrador's first self-proclaimed serial killer. Rather than cave to the killer's demands, Candice sets out on her own to bring the killer to justice. Following clues hidden in letters sent to her by the killer himself, Candice navigates the East Coast Trail in search of evidence to put the man tormenting her behind bars. But nothing can prepare Candice for the biggest shock still to come.
