The essence of Schelling‹s thinking can be described as the constant attempt to think of an absolute beginning, the source. In Schelling‹s own opinion, the solution to this problem was phrased for the first time in his ‹Weltalter‹ (Ages of the World) text. It is here that we find the key to understanding Schelling‹s late works, and maybe his entire philosophy.
