    Ich bin durch einen Hinweis im Bakery Bears Podcast auf dieses Buch gestossen und es hat mir wirklich gut gefallen. OK, hohe Literatur sollte frau nicht erwarten, es ist von Anfang an ziemlich klar, dass es ein gutes Ende nehmen wird und vielleicht ist der Verlust von Kind UND Gatten schon ein bissle too much- aber ich fand die Story schlüssig, die Charaktere sympathisch und unterhaltsam. Ich wusste auch gar nicht, dass es in UK diese Allotments (das hab ich jetzt garantiert falsch geschrieben) gibt. Das Ganze hat mir immerhin so gut gefallen, dass ich zumindest in die Leseprobe des zweiten Serienteiles "Appleby Farms" reinlesen werde.
