Ein Buch über das Brechen gesellschaftlicher Erwartungen – aber auch über Machtverhältnisse unter Freund*innen. Insgesamt hat mir das Buch richtig gut gefallen. Im ersten Drittel hat es mich ein wenig an Dolly Aldertons Everything I Know About Love erinnert, und es hat etwas gedauert, bis ich richtig in die Geschichte reingekommen bin. Aber die Tiefe und Vielfalt der Figuren, das Erzählen selbst und der Raum zur Reflexion, den das Buch eröffnet, haben dafür gesorgt, dass ich es am Ende wirklich geliebt habe.
