This book is just what I needed. struggling myself with mental health and finding purpose in life, Niall's story really touched me. I don't know what else to say, but this book made me cry, made me laugh and ultimately made me a bit happier, a bit more optimistic. We need people like you Niall. I myself have a rescue dog from Romania. Maybe that's why this story touched me so much. But it's also the way the dog's helped Niall out of mental health issues, alcohol and drug abuse and have his life meaning. I feel like dog's, and that might sound cheesy, help us humans be better. My dog is always there for me, loves me without asking questions. This book is so much more than a book about saving street dogs. It's, as the title says, a book about hope. And it sure does give hope. I think this will always have a special place in my heart and book collection!
