Holocaust-Memorial Berlin

After long discussions, the monument for the murdered Jews of Europe, planned by the New Yorker architect Peter Eisenman has been opened. The concrete steles are now part of the city. Every stele has its own height and inclination in this field which is accessible for the public. Belowground is the place of information, which illustrates the Holocaust with the help of individual European fates.
