    „The man had made the mistake of giving her a Sephora gift card that disappeared so fast he‘d given her another one the very next day.“ Oh Benevolence, you and your quirky citizens! I just loved Gloria and Aldo‘s story. I was a bit sad that many scenes we already knew from Protecting What‘s Mine, but we got to see them from a different perspective, what made it okay again. Apart from that, the cozy small town life was not only what I wanted to see, but exactly what I got with this book. I‘ll definitely come back to see what Linc is up to.
