Fear of the Animal Planet

- AK Press has done well with animal rights-themed books in the past. We expect to find some success with Jason's book because it addresses concerns at the heart of the animal rights movement but comes from a different perspective. By not being an "animal rights activist" per se, we feel confident that Jason's work will appeal to those sensitive to animal cruelty but not always on board with animal rights agendas.
- The fun thing about this book is that it doesn't rely on an ethical argument. Jason lets the animals' behavior speak for them, and their behavior is nothing short of astounding.
