Anna Stones books are either hit or miss for me. While I enjoy most of them, this sadly isn't one of them. So far this is definitely my least favorite series by her. This was the one I was most excited for, so I don't really have any expectations for the rest of the series. I just wasn't a fan of their relationship and dynamic at all. And usually I'm a sucker for workplace romance but this wasn't done well in my opinion. I didn't see any chemistry between the characters and I felt like this was written a bit strange. Usually I enjoy Anna Stones storytelling and writing but not in this one.
