I am really torn on this book. I liked the concept and most of the characters but the pacing and plot just wouldn't hold my attention. For most of the book nothing really happens. I don't mind character driven books but in this one we didn't really get to watch the protagonists interact. Some big events are scattered throughout but then don't really have any major impact. I really disliked the whole religion/dream of Terra2 and faith aspect of the book. I just didn't get anything out of Astrid's cult obsession and prophetic dreams that didn't amount to anything. Overall, I was left unsatisfied with the story.
