The figures are well-developed and spiked with a unique sense of humour. Ainsa has a fluent and easy-to-consume writing style, yet vivid and picturesque, enabling one to visualize the characters, the Spanish scenery including the streets of beloved Madrid! I loved that she sheds light onto complex intra-dynamic relationships of people who are in very different circumstances and would not have crossed each other´s paths, if LIFE would not have happened! All in all, I loved the book and with Paloma Ainsa keeping it real throughout her story. Easy 5 stars!
