Das Kabinett des Malers Terry Winters

The catalog places Terry Winters’ works in the context of the objects in the scientific collections of Universalmuseum Joanneum. A Pinterest account created especially for the project and documenting Winter’s research and source materials has also found inclusion in the catalog. Two conceptual texts originating from an exchange between the artist and Kenneth Goldsmith, poet and founder of Internet platform UbuWeb, and Austrian writer Ferdinand Schmatz provide a literary backdrop to, and different viewpoints on, Terry Winter’s work.
