Dark Waters of Hagwood

The High Lady Rhiannon is more intent than ever on finding the enchanted casket containing her heart. Up until now, she has ruled heartlessly, made immortal through evil sorcery. But if someone else uncovers the casket and destroys it, her life and reign will end. The werlings Finnen and Gamaliel—in possession of the casket’s golden key—race to find the treasure first. Their quest leads to the Pool of the Dead, where a hideous creature, Peg-tooth Meg, resides with her slimy snails and globby slug-lungs. Caught between the forces of Peg-tooth Meg and the High Lady, Gamaliel and his friends must make a desperate stand to save Hagwood from the forces of evil.
