Police find Romy injured on the side of the highway. She has an atrocious message written in lipstick on her stomach, but she cannot recall a thing. She is not the only girl to go missing that night, but she is the only one who made it home. Her PTSD, survivor's guilt, inability to remember, and her need to find out who hurt her make everyone reject her. After all, there is not greater sin but to remain alive when others did not.
