I think Kasie West is one of my favorite contemporary writers now. It's the second of her books I listened to on audio and I loved it. The characters we're well written and all of them had some kind of a character development. The anxiety representation (also TW for anxiety) was done very well, at least as far as I can tell. The story felt natural and relatable. 5 stars from me, I'm looking forward to read more books by this author.

I haven't read young adult for a while now but I have enjoyed most of Kasie Wests novels and have been looking forward to this book. Being stuck in a library over night definitely sounds like a dream come true for a bookworm, but Autumn isn't too happy about it. Once she realises that she isn't alone, she and Dax are trying to adjust to the situation. I really enjoyed the library setting and how Autumn and Dax are getting to know each other better. Overall the book had some nice twists and some lengthy bits but it's a very cute story and romance which I enjoyed a lot. Kasie Wests writing style is easy and fast-paced as usual and just fun to read.

Ich fand die Handlung klang nach etwas anderem und die Autorin weiß wirklich, wie man eine Geschichte spannend, witzig und originelle gestaltet. Definitiv ein tolles Buch für ein paar entspannte Lesestunden. Es liest sich durch die einfache Sprache auch super schnell zu Ende. Von mir gibt’s eine Empfehlung!
