8 steps to build the life you want - and get happier.

A lot of what is discussed in the book I've read or heard in other books, podcasts or articles but it is still valuable to hear different aspects in different ways of looking at it. You can never have enough repetition to let those lessons sink in. Oprah indeed (as was mentioned in other reviews on the internet) has only visibly contributed 'notes' sprinkled in in between the chapters (although I'm sure there was much more collaboration than that between the two of them). The only aspect that didn't sit well with me were the repeated religious mentions or recommendations to find faith. But I understand where both of them are coming from and they are very open and honest about it, too, not wanting to push religion on anyone. I also would have appreciated more contemporary scientists or research instead of ancient philosophers or smart people who died hundreds of years ago. 😆 All in all still a solid recommendation from me!
