Bad Bishop (Deluxe Edition)

I’ve tried reading a few mafia romances before, but I always had to dnf them because the mafia aspect played such a minor role that it could easily have been left out entirely. This book hit the mark for me: I found both the plot and the romance incredible. At first, I was a bit unsure about the age gap, but by the end, it didn't really bother me anymore. Although Lila (the FMC) initially comes across as one of those pushovers who puts up with anything, I feel she showed some backbone as the story progressed. The MMC (I have to be honest here) was my favorite part. I do love a messed-up man with a sense of humor 😛 (in fiction, that is). Great banter between the two of them; I could feel the chemistry leaping off the page. Highly recommended!

Ein wirklich tolles Buch. Hat mich von der Storyline gut gecatcht und auch timeline und spannungsmäßig gut aufgebaut. Die tension zwischen den beiden war auch toll zu lesen und es war mal was anderes da die Lila eben nicht komplett uneingeschränkt ist (was sie nicht hinderte in Tiernans Hintern zu treten) 😉 ich muss sagen das ich vom plot her überrascht war auch wenn man es sich erahnen könnte wenn man wollen würde. Da ich aber kopflos reingefallen bin hatte ich es mir nicht zusammenstellen können. Das einzige was ein Problem war ist das mir eher wirklich viel Kontext fehlte da es das erste Buch von dieser Autorin war. Ich werde mit dem Universum beginnen und bestimmt nochmal ein Reread machen. 🖤🫶

Ich liebe den Schreibstil der Autorin. Sie verschafft mir auf meisterliche Weise mit Worten Schmetterlinge im Bauch. Die Tension zwischen den Protas war auch hier wieder crazy. Die Geschichte und die Protas sind nicht nur sexy sondern auch humorvoll, spannend und voller Emotionen. Ich habe jede Seite gefühlt und geliebt ♥️❤️‍🔥
