Die russischstämmige Anya ist in ihrer Schule eine Außenseiterin, dabei gibt sie sich solche Mühe dazuzugehören. Leider klappt das nicht so gut. Dann stolpert sie im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes in eine Bekanntschaft mit einem Geist. Emily, ein junges Mädchen, das schon seit zig Jahren tot ist. Endlich eine Freundin und es ist außerdem ganz praktisch, wenn der Geist helfen kann z.B. beim Abschreiben. Aber dann verändert sich die Dynamik zwischen den beiden... Das hat mir Spaß gemacht, ist zu empfehlen, wenn man Graphic Novels im Coming of Age-Genre mag.
Für alle Coraline Fans: Hier kommt eure Halloween Lektüre!
Anya ist ein mehr oder weniger typischer Teenager: mit nichts zufrieden, nichts läuft wie sie es will und ihre Familie ist sowieso doof. Ehrlich gesagt eine ziemlich unsympathische Protagonistin. Doch dann fällt sie in einen Brunnen. Ehe sie überhaupt realisieren kann was passiert ist, hat sie einen Geist an der Backe. Und dieses Geistermädchen stellt Anyas Leben gewaltig auf den Kopf! Egal was ihr euch darunter vorstellt, es wird anders kommen! So so gruselig und spannend. Es hat einen Grund, dass selbst Neil Gaiman diesen Comic als Meisterwerk bezeichnet!
