    i‘m a sucker for monster romance and i absolutely loved magnar, but i hated how delora was treating him, especially during the first half of the book. and - (maybe a little spoiler?) - the pregnancy trope was ruining it for me. I absolutely adored Fyodor and I wanted to know what happened to him, and I‘m still hoping for his book, but the whole „you‘re carrying a mavka“ topic was so… weird. not my trope, so 3.25⭐️ for me 🙈

    Auch der zweite Teil konnte mich wieder komplett abholen. Wir tauchen tiefer in die Welt der Duskwalker und Dämonen ein, das Worldbuilding hier ist einfach so extrem gut! Ich hatte zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl, dass es sich zieht. Traumabewältigung wird in diesem Buch wirklich gut umgesetzt. Es werden die nächsten Charaktere eingeführt, die die Hauptrollen in den kommenden Büchern übernehmen, das ganze auf so natürliche Weise, dass es sich überhaupt nicht gepusht anfühlt. Wer auf der Suche nach einer wirklich guten Buchreihe ist, der sollte sich The Duskwalker Brides anschauen. In jedem Buch gibt es eine andere starke FMC, von plus-size, verschiedene Ethnien, lgbtq ist wirklich alles abgedeckt bisher. Und der smut ist gottlos. So unholy, dass ihr niemals wieder eine Kirche betreten könnt, aber das ist es zu 100% wert. Gönnt euch.
