Zylah Renfall is certain of two things: she will forever be on the run for the murder of a prince, and she somehow used magic to escape her own hanging.
Aided by a mysterious and infuriating Fae, Zylah dreams of a fresh start and a chance to explore her newly discovered Fae heritage. But her dreams are short-lived as the king's men still hunt for her head. When she learns of a Fae uprising uniting to overthrow the same king who wants her dead, Zylah seizes her opportunity.
Take down the king, secure her freedom.
With just three months to prepare, Zylah's future hangs in the balance. Despite the allure of her Fae trainer and the ruthless attempts on their lives, failure is not an option. For as long as the king lives, the Fae remain in the shadows and Zylah will never be free.

3,75 Stars !Spoilers ahead! I kinda really liked it, I mean I was a little addicted to it because I read it in 2 days... BUT something wasn't enough. The assasination attempt on King Arnir for instance.... They said it took so long to plan everything, but when the time came it was so boring and fast... They were in, going up the stairs and UPS he is sitting on a throne made out of valensomething.... and then in was over... That bugged me SO much. I mean you build the tension up, but when the time comes for a scene with much action potential you leave the it unsatisfied. The same problem at the end (with Jesper beeing a vampire) and so on. Okay, it was a little better, but kind of boring and rushed too. I would've liked it if the "torture" was a little longer or something like that. I hope that we get to read something about Zaylas family, her heritage and MORE about the magic system. But I loved Kopi
