Dublin. Lockdown. Ciara and Oliver meet shortly before the Covid restrictions begin – and spontaneously decide to move in together. What starts off as romantic quickly turns into a psychological chamber piece. 56 days later, a body is found in Oliver’s apartment. And the question isn’t just: What happened? But rather: Which of them is actually telling the truth?

Dublin in lockdown: Ciara and Oliver move in together after a short period of dating – 56 days later, a body is found in the apartment. I really loved that from the very beginning you can tell that something isn’t quite right with either of them. What made it especially gripping was constantly trying to piece together what Oliver actually did – and whether Ciara is truly as innocent as she seems. 👀 The time jumps and multiple POVs were very well executed and didn’t disrupt the reading flow at all – if anything, they heightened the tension. And the last 120 pages? I couldn’t put it down. 🔥 The ending was really strong – not necessarily “fair,” but that’s exactly what made it so good. A gripping, cleverly structured thriller with an underlying sense of unease and a finale that truly lingers. 🖤

Why would Catherine Ryan Howard play me like that?
