Wisdom's Way / The Nephrology Affair

The local pathologist Dr James Beamish calls to see DCI Peter Powell because he is worried about a recent sudden death. Peter decides that it could well be a police matter and an investigation begins. The investigation points to a local nephrologist who may be misusing his trust, and carrying out illegal operations for money. The focus then turns to the local Chinese community and their activities in an attempt to arrive at a conclusion. A 15 year old girl is in desperate need of a transplant, but where would the kidney come from? Are 'Falun Gong' at it again?
