Magically, exiting and conflicting. (Post contains spoiler)
It's an amazing sequel to "These witches wont burn". The relationship between Morgan and Hannah is so wholesome ❤ Its exciting till the end, questioning how and why the hunters get through with their actions. I love all the characters they met along the way and I'm very sad and conflicted with the endings for Benton and Ryan (Detectiv Archer). Idk Benton was questioning his ways and did seem to regret some things. Taking his memories away without talking to him, letting him see the other side and giving him the chance to get rid of the mindset his parents forced on to him seemed wrong to me. I mean he lost half of his Identity and didn't know anymore why he did the things he did, leaving him kinda broken. I would love to see what was going on in his mind after the memory wipe. And Archer is just sad. He kinda was like family and without his memories of magic he severed these ties. Glad that he's happy with Lauren but theres no way back now for him even if the council approves to fill in trustful humans. His memories will probably be forever lost.
The witch hunters are back, with a much more dangerous serum for the witches than before. This time when the witches get shot by it, they'll lose their powers forever and the blood witches will even die from it. Hannah still isn't in contact with her powers after she's gotten attacked by Benton. Every time she tries to reach for them it is painful for her. Except when her girlfriend Morgan is with her than her magical powers are easy to reach. Hannah get included to a mission to destroy the drug that will take away everyone's powers. Her mother doesn't want her to go, which is understandable because she doesn't want to lose her only child as well after losing her Husband to the witch Hunters. . This Coven Won't Break, was really heartwarming. At first it took me a while to get into the story again, but as soon as I got into the book, I re-fell in love with the characters. I loved to read more about the love from Hannah and Morgan. Hannah has been through so much during the past month. That's why I didn't trust the Caster Elder as soon as she asked Hannah for help. She couldn't get in touch with her magic for a long time. Every time she tried she was in pain. It only really worked when Morgan was around. The whole mission was dangerous. Because other witches lost their powers during the mission, Hannah blamed herself for everything. I had to stop reading as Detective Archer didn't just lose his powers but also decided to erase his memory about magic. Same thing as Gemma memories about magic getting erased. I'm so happy that Hannah and Morgan were able at the end to re-tell Gemma about their powers. I'm also glad that the three Covens found together and are also working together. I'm happy that Cal had his Top Surgery - can I have a blood witch as well when I have Top Surgery? My favorite characters were Gemma, Morgan, Alice and Cal
Der Krieg ist im vollen Gange und Intrigen wühlen die Clans auf. Mittendrin vergessen wir den Krieg, weil die beiden Teenager die Finger nicht voneinander lassen können (was ich ihnen nicht verübeln kann). Die Ausgestaltung der Charaktere ist toll und ich liebe vor allem Morgan als mein Book-Girlfriend. Auch die Dynamiken von Gemma und Alice in Bezug auf Hannah sind toll. Meine Favoriten 🤌
Das Ende der Duologie war ein schöner Abschluss. Der Schreibstil war weiterhin super gut und flüssig zu lesen. Die Geschichte ist spannend und fesselt bis zum Ende des Buches, jedoch habe ich oft die Entscheidungen und Meinungen der Figuren nicht nachvollziehen können. Jedoch war es gut, dass es hauptsächlich um die Rettung der Hexenzirkel dreht und nicht um Beziehungsdramen.

It was a great ending but I want so much more
Ich fand den zweiten Teil leider viel schwächer, als den ersten. Ich konnte mich leider nicht mehr an viel erinnern und war dementsprechend anfangs etwas verwirrt. Auch die Geschichte war in dem Teil leider etwas langweilig und ich wollte das Buch einfach nur beenden und hatte nicht so viel Spaß, wie beim ersten Teil.
