Teil der Slammed Serie, weiter unten hab ich euch schon den ersten Teil vorgestellt. „Point of retreat“ war etwas schwächer, aber immer noch gut. Die Handlung ging zügig voran, es herrschte eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und auch jede Menge Drama war dabei. Ich persönlich lese nicht so gern Serien und Layken und Will als Paar sind zwar süß, aber nicht mein Favorit. Die Serie hat insgesamt 3 Teile, die Rezension von „This girl“ / „Weil wir uns lieben“ kommt nächste Woche. Ich werde mir erst mal ein alleinstehendes Buch von CoHo vornehmen, wenn ich wieder zu ihren Büchern greife ❤️. Eingeschränkte Leseempfehlung, da man zuerst Teil 1 braucht. 🇬🇧 Layken and Will are not my favorite couple and I usually don’t read series… so this was really some kind of challenge for me. „Slammed“ was better but „Point of retreat was still quite good. The book has a nice mood to it, it’s very easy to read, a page turner you can read in a day if you want to. The couple‘s love almost breaks but then …. Read and find out. Review of part 3 „This girl“ will be up next week ❤️

this book killed me emotionally. just when I thought it was all good, something happens. super cute sequel, yet I think it did not necessarily have to be, because the first part can also be super standalone. but of course I was still very happy to read more about Will and Layken. "sometimes things happen in life that you didn't plan for. then you have no choice but to pull yourself together and change your plan."

liked it almost as much as the first part, still a 5/5 stars. Easy to read, looking forward to read the last part❣️

Because of the people who haven't read the first book yet, there will be no spoilers here, which also means no brick... ALTHOUGH: I can say, Colleen Hoover is the queen of plot twists with this book!!! 🫠The story goes on as an rollercoaster of highs and lows, or how the characters in the book would say: "sucks and sweets". 👀🥴😅✨️ I felt: -happy😁 -sad😭 -confused 🫠 - angry 😤 -and happy again 😁 This book is definitely the ✨️BEST✨️ second book in a series, that I've ever read!!! If there would be an opportunity to give it 6 stars, I'd do!!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋

Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht von dieser Reihe. „Point of Retreat“ war leider nicht besser als der erste Band und ich finde, man es beim ersten Band belassen können. Die Story war nicht besonders spannend. Die zwei großen Ereignisse haben mich entweder genervt oder waren etwas unrealistisch und nur für unnötige Spannung da. Das, was mich jedoch am meisten gestört hat, war die komische Stimmung, die im ganzen Buch geherrscht hat. Will und Layken haben über Dinge gelacht, über die man nicht lachen sollte, die Dialoge waren extrem komisch, irgendwie werden alle früh schwanger/sind früh schwanger geworden(??) und besonders Wills Verhalten. Will hat mir bereits in „Slammed“ nicht so gut gefallen, aber das hauptsächlich weil ich ihn langweilig fand. Hier war er einfach komisch und auffallend aggressiv 😀 Man merkt einfach, dass das Buch 2012 geschrieben wurde. Ich bin mal gespannt wie der letzte Band wird, aber bis jetzt bin ich wirklich enttäuscht.

It wasn’t as good as Slammed but still good! Nothing can beat Slammed thb. Kiersten is the best character in this book; you can fight me on that but I won’t change my mind. Still teeth-rotting cute and heart-breaking. Some drama a bit unnecessary in my opinion (*Vaughn*); but overall again a proof of CoHo‘s great amount of talent when it comes to writing
