Das Buch ist das perfekte Beispiel für fehlende Kommunikation. Hätten Daniel und Nicole einfach mal von Anfang an über die Vergangenheit gesprochen wäre soviel Drama erspart geblieben. Beide sind Sturköpfe und Daniel war am Anfang schon ein Arschloch. Er wurde gegen Ende, als sich beide mal endlich gefangen haben, doch noch ein kleiner Süßi.😅
I’m sorry but i think this is the book i liked the least from the whole rinaverse and i actually love all of them. I just didn’t like Daniel he was just pissing me of and his feelings were not valid at all. I knew the plot from the beginning on so that wasn’t a surprise either. I loved nicole and jay tho they were the only good thing abt this lol
Hate or love?
EN: I loved their story, i laughed, i cried and i just had a good time with this book. I was so consumed with this story that i could not set it aside. I loved the tension between Daniel and Nicole. They somehow hate and love each other. Very interesting concept. But at the end it was a bit frustrating to see how long Daniel has to battle with himself. DE: Ich habe die Story der beiden geliebt. Ich habe viel gelacht, geweint und alles in allem war es einfach ein gutes Buch. Ich hab die Dynamik der hauptcharakter echt geliebt. Dieser Hass-Liebesbeziehung war einfach ein tolles konzept. Am Ende jedoch war es etwas nervig und zu lange gezogen das Daniel so mit sich selber kämpft.
I really liked this book and the couple. I usually don’t like the second chance trope but this one really made it work. They have known each other since they were kids and were friends first and then enemies. Nicole flew to the states with her little brother Jayden (whom I absolutely loved) and started to work at the same company Daniel works at. Daniel is her boss and definitely gives her a run for her money. I loved reading about everything that’s happened at the office because of all those familiar characters. Also at the end when I got to see Astrid and Levi again and their kids. It was sooooo cute. The drama at the end of the book where Daniel left her felt a little forced but other than that it was a really good book.
