Wie "der Fluch von Carrow House" eine absolute Empfehlung. Auch hier konnte ich mich wieder sehr gut gruseln und die Geschichte hatte einige Wendungen, die ich so nicht erwartet hatte und für mich gut getroffen waren. Einen halben Stern ziehe ich jedoch ab, da es erst ab der Mitte des Buches so richtig losgeht mit dem Spuk. Das nächste Buch von Darcy Coates wird direkt im Anschluss gehört.
I‘m having a hard time even talking about what happened here, because it wasn‘t much. I have NO idea who the main character even is. The only thing I do know about her, is that she loves her cat very much. That‘s it. She has nothing but time on her hands, since she has no real employment, and yet she does NOTHING as soon as she steps into that house. I feel like sometimes it is described how she makes tea in the morning (in painful detail) and after that, the sun is almost setting again „ahhh too late to walk into town again, damnit“ She has NO MONEY at all, and she does nothing to change something about that. First thing I would have done after setting up camp in the house, is look for a job maybe? HOW WILL YOU EAT, GIRL. Anyway, all that haunted house lore was revealed in the end, by simply reading a note?! It was written there all along?? That means none of that bullshit would have happened if Adrienne wasn‘t such a DULL stupid lil girl who was too scared to look into all the rooms THAT NOW BELONG TO HER. ugh.

Das Buch hat mir gut gefallen, zwar dauert es ungefähr bis zur Hälfte des Buchs bis der Grusel endlich anfängt, aber dann geht der Spuk los. Ich mag es gern und mach mich an den nächsten Band.😃
