Ich wusste es. Es war zu schön um wahr zu sein. Und dann noch dieser Cliffhanger. Mir war bewusst, was kommen wird, aber mein Herz hat die letzten Kapitel so mit gezittert vor Angst und Sorge. Liebe vor allem für diesen Band, weil wir hier Kapitel aus ADRIANS SICHT bekommen!! Dieser Wechsel bei jedem Kapitel und die Gefühle von Sydney und Adrian lesen zu können. Ihre Liebe, ihr Schmerz, es war wirklich schön zu lesen.
Ich liebe es, dass wir Einblick in Adrians Gedankenwelt bekommen. Das Ende habe ich geahnt, aber es bricht mir das Herz.
Eine gelungene Fortsetzung!
Es ist mir überhaupt nicht schwer gefallen wieder in die Welt von Sydney und Adrian einzutauchen. Die Geschichte bewegt sich zunächst in ruhigen Bahnen, bis die Handlung sehr schnell an Fahrt gewinnt und vor allem am Schluss absolut spannend ist. Richelle Mead hat ist es wirklich wunderbar gelungen die Spannung zu steigern, auch wenn man als Leser*in bzw. Hörer*in natürlich erwartet hat, dass etwas in dieser Richtung passieren muss. Ich bin froh, dass ich direkt mit der Reihe weitermachen kann und so den Cliffhanger nicht aushalten muss. Eine tolle Fortsetzung.

So ein spannendes Ende! Ich gebe zu, ich mochte diesem Band sehr gerne, auch wenn ich das Gefühl hatte dass er sich hauptsächlich um die Liebesgeschichte drehte. Auch wenn sehr weltbewegende Dinge geschehen und aufgedeckt wurden - der Fokus lag einfach absolut nicht darauf. Sondern viel mehr auf der Liebe, der Moral, den Unterschieden und dem Überwinden von Grenzen. Btw: Checkt Zoe eigentlich irgendwas? Ich find sie super ätzend, auch wenn sie im Grunde nichts dafür kann.
I can't give less than 5 stars to this book because i absolutely loved it! I especially liked that it was written in Sydney's AND Adrian's POV and i loved both - i think it was super important to read about Adrian's thoughts and feelings! There wasn't a lot of action in this book but lots of other interesting things - the relationship between Adrian and Sydney was perfect! I loved all their scenes and those little escape plans and how she "changed" Adrian and made him a better person that is still himself and flirty and charming and sexy but more responsible and mature - and he did the same with Sydney! He makes her happy and enjoy life and just be herself and ugh! ♥ It was also good to meet the other characters, like Rose, Dimitri, Lissa, Sonya and even Christian! I really wanted Rose and Adrian to TALK - i just wanted him to tell her about Sydney. The 2 new characters were Neil and Zoe and let me be honest ... i didn't like Zoe! She was annoying and stupid and stubborn and i wanted to like her, really. There were those cute little moments with Sydney and when she talked about the others in Palm Springs but the next moment it was gone. Well, and i felt the same for Neil. At first. Now i really like him and i'm glad he got the chance to convice me, haha :) The ending was terrible!!!! I knew everything was too perfect to be true and that it might happen but still ... i can't wait to find out what happens next!
So good to be back again! Immediately loved the lively writing style, the characters (Sydney is my new fav!), the romance and just the whole world. Why did I make such a long break? I have no idea, but it was easy to come back -a lot were repeated and I had no problem to remember it all. Can I wait so long again? NO, not after the horrible cliffhanger! NEED the next one! Now!
