I‘m missing the humor and also a „mission“ like in lights out. Large portion of the plot is that they struggle to pay the rent for the building. The characters are rather flat and not nearly as kinky as they were in the first book. My fav is Taylor, as she is the only funny one It’s entertaining enough to kill some time but just not scratching it for me

Did I like the book, or did I just enjoy the audio performance? I guess it‘s the latter. I would have loved to read HOW and WHY these two characters fell in love, but it all happened off page, like 10 years ago. We don‘t even get real flashback chapters of that time. I guess the rest was entertaining enough, even though no element really stood out. For anyone expecting the same addicting, and funny vibes from book 1, just nope.

Ich weis nicht so recht. Das Buch war nicht schlecht aber für mich konnte es leider nicht mit Lights Out mit halten. Ich hätte viel mehr Mafia Action erwartet, da ist im ersten Band deutlich mehr passiert. So richtig spannend wurde es erst zum Schluss vorher irgendwie nur spice ohne Handlung.
