Cozy, comforting and fuzzy warm fantasy with a great found family, slow paced and with low stakes. I loved the wandering family vibes, magic system, and diverse experience of identity and adventure. Unfortunately tho, I felt the stakes were a bit too low for me. No conflict or surprises in plot or character interactions. I missed some authentic moments, a little tension or even momentum.

“One could choose to be nothing, or one could choose to be happy.” “Familiarity could look very much like love from a certain angle, if one didn’t look to hard.” “You’re wrong. There’s no such thing as greater good - there’s just good, and the more of it we can do, the better.” “I think you have changed… In enough small ways that you just don’t quite notice it while it’s happening, but then you look in the mirror one day, and you’re altogether different.” “I think, that the old heroes were probably just like us. And there’s nothing wrong with being just you.”
