okay, this took me half an eternity to finish. i’ll try to keep my thoughts on that as short as possible. - after book 1, i immediately dived into book 2. i loved that it started where the previous one ended, but i was confused by the name change of the female protagonist even though it got explained quite fast. - the middle part suddenly turned into some weird love triangle stuff and i still don’t know what to think about it (that’s why i’m giving 4.5). because i’m a mendax girlie from bottom to top and i don’t really like eli. - the whole walter plotline had me in tears. i didn’t see that ending coming and i think i’ll need 3-5 business days to recover from that ending, again - Caly‘s reveal at the end had me speechless and i‘m considering diving into book 3 immediately because i’ll end up with half a heart, too, if i don’t know what happened next (this series ist a clear 10/10 for me, but i’m confused by the sudden love triangle. i know i’ll get used to it, so i consider this book this months highlight 😌)

Auch Band 2 hat mich nicht enttäuscht. Ich liebe einfach alles daran. Es bleibt immer spannend, die Charaktere machen einiges durch, die Welt wird immer wie magischer, die Elemente sind anders. Und die Plots? Einfach wiedermal verdammt gut! Band 1 war düster, magisch, voll mit Tieren, Feen, verschiedenen Welten und Tod. Band 2 vertieft einfach alles nochmals und bringt noch mehr Gefühle rein. Noch mehr Tiere, Einhörner!!, Götter, Verrat, Twists, und es hört einfach nicht auf. Was macht diese Autorin bloss, ich bin begeistert von ihr!
