Eine emotionale, atmosphärische und tiefgründige Geschichte die noch lange nach dem Zuklappen in mir Nachhallt. Ich möchte möglichst bald den zweiten Band lesen!

It’s something different from my usual choice of books and I think I would have never picked it up if I hadn’t come across a review on Reado - because let's be honest, at first I thought it was a dark romance book because of the cover 🫠 I loved following Anna through time and meeting lots of historical figures. And most of all I totally fell for Khiran. The slow burn was sloooowly burning, but I think it made the story even better this way. Excited for the second book. Genoa 1439 had me sobbing.

This book is like a must-read, and I don’t understand how I could just stumble upon it by coincidence?! We have fantasy, we have history, we have magic, we have romance, we have agony, conflicts, pain, heartbreaksss, cry sessions (but also out of joy!) From the beginning, I was hooked, and I finished it in one sitting, in one day. I just couldn’t stop. It’s even a slow-burn romance—and usually, I haaaate slow-burn. But in this setting.. perfection ✨ Oh guys..the last book of 2024—the one I chose out of boredom—climbed straight to one of my top reads of the year and I am sooo happy that I’m starting 2025 with the second book (it’s a duology). ❤️‍🔥
