„Another Time, Another Place“ war mein erstes Buch auf Englisch – und ich muss sagen, ich bin begeistert! Der Schreibstil von Jo Lovett ist nicht nur gut verständlich, sondern auch wirklich angenehm zu lesen. Die Geschichte hat mich von Anfang an mit ihrer süßen und herzerwärmenden Atmosphäre in ihren Bann gezogen. Besonders Liv, die Hauptfigur, hat es mir angetan. Sie ist humorvoll, liebenswert und so authentisch, dass man sie einfach ins Herz schließen muss. Auch Ben, der männliche Protagonist, hat mich mit seiner charmanten und zugleich tiefgründigen Art überzeugt. Die Liebesgeschichte der beiden entwickelt sich über viele Jahre hinweg, was es umso schöner macht, ihre Höhen und Tiefen mitzuerleben. Der Plot hielt einige Überraschungen bereit – ich hätte nicht damit gerechnet, wie sehr mich bestimmte Wendungen berühren würden. Jo Lovett's writing style is not only easy to understand, but also really pleasant to read. The story immediately captivated me with its sweet and heartwarming atmosphere. I especially loved Liv, the main character. She's funny, lovable, and so authentic that you can’t help but feel connected to her. Ben, the male protagonist, also won me over with his charm and depth. Watching their love story unfold over the years made it all the more special to experience their ups and downs. The plot had some unexpected twists – I didn’t anticipate how deeply certain moments would move me. The ending was simply beautiful and perfectly rounded off the story.
