Klare Leseempfehlung!

Gimme the damn tissues
Pain, heart wrenching, soul crushing all consuming pain. I will never stop crying over Felix and Jake. I would give them all the stars if I could.
That book was amazing. I really have a thing for broken characters, and Jake and Felix were just perfect. I also love it when the relationship between the main characters is never in question, and the plot revolves around both of them fighting the circumstances together.
Marine Jake has been clean for 7 years when he finds out that his long-term girlfriend leaves him for someone else. Unfortunately he also finds his roommate's drugs. Down the drain with his sobriety and his career in military and back to his brother's, meetings, and fights with his inner demons. At one of those meetings he meets Felix who becomes his sponsor. While the language and the humour is seriously fluffy, many of the topics are not. The author disclaims that she hasn't had any personal relations with an addict she does depict many of the daily struggles, disruptions in the family dynamics, and battles with your demons. While there are horrible "family" situations, loss of control and others, there are also many warm-hearted moments of found family, family, trust, and love.
