Ich fand dieses Buch leider überhaupt nicht glaubhaft. Natürlich, es ist eine Geschichte, aber das man sich innerhalb von 3 Tagen in seinen Entführer verliebt und direkt an Tag 1 der Entführen keine Angst zeigt, sondern sich über fehlende Gesichtscreme beschwert war irgendwie super unrealistisch. Und auch mit dem Ende bin ich nicht so warm geworden. Für mich war die ganze Geschichte leider sehr unrund.

right so, first things first- it‘s enemies to lovers and the characters, especially damon can pull it off like no other. Istg he was so annoying, even i was annoyed. I have to give Saint a lot of credits for putting up with him for so long. For the readers (me) it was such a fest. Still- When I read the description I was really looking forward to dangerous situations, brutality etc etc since it’s a kidnapping trope and tbh- Compared to others I've read, it was rather soft. I just had different expectations. That doesn't make the book bad, it's actually a really good read with many funny and sweet situations, but so much more could have been done with it. Like, insights into Saint's work, why does he do what he does? how does he started? How does he manage to leave bc at one point he thought he could never? This page is completely missing and I wish the author had fleshed it out a little better. Nevertheless, it‘s an easy writing style and it was fun to read. The Spice-Level is around 3/5 🌶️.
